The Azerbaijani military carried out strikes on 36 settlements in Armenia.

As a result of the attack by the Azerbaijani army, about 500 people were injured. At the same time, we are talking not only about the military personnel of the Armenian army, but also about civilians. The relevant information was announced in the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia.

“The Azerbaijani Armed Forces shelled 36 settlements, including: the communities of Goris, Sisian, Kapan, Jermuk, Vardenis, Teh, Geghamasar, as a result of which 192 residential buildings, 3 hotels, 2 schools, 1 medical facility, 1 banquet hall, 4 cowsheds were partially or completely destroyed. 7 power supply infrastructure facilities, 5 water supply facilities, 3 gas pipelines, 1 bridge, 2 highways, 1 street were damaged. 2 ambulances and 4 personal vehicles were hit.”, - stated in the official statement of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia.

Baku, in turn, refutes the accusations that it was Azerbaijan that was involved in the conflict on the border with Armenia, emphasizing that the reason for everything was provocations from Armenia, despite all the existing agreements between Yerevan and Baku.

At the moment, the situation on the border between Azerbaijan and Armenia remains extremely tense - according to a number of data, over the past few days Azerbaijan has increased its military presence near the Armenian borders, however, this information has not yet been commented on in Baku.
