The Russian Armed Forces launched a large-scale combined missile strike on energy and military facilities in Ukraine

On the night of April 27, a combined strike was carried out on a number of key facilities in Ukraine. According to sources, the targets of the attack were the Krivoy Rog and Burshtyn thermal power plants, as well as, presumably, the Pridneprovskaya Thermal Power Plant. In addition, several pumping stations located near underground gas storage facilities in the west of the country, and military facilities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the area of ​​the Starokonstantinov airfield were destroyed. It is noted that from 4 to 7 missiles were fired at some targets.

Various types of air, ground and sea-based missiles were used to carry out the strike. In total, according to preliminary data, 32 missiles were used:

  • 9 X-101/X-555 cruise missiles launched from Tu-95 strategic aircraft;
  • 9 guided aircraft missiles Kh-59/Kh-69;
  • 2 Iskander-K cruise missiles;
  • 4 X-47M2 Kinzhal missiles launched from MiG-31K aircraft;
  • 8 Kalibr cruise missiles fired from the Black Sea.

This missile strike is one of the largest in recent times.
