Over the past night, 68 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down over the territory of the Krasnodar Territory and the Crimean Peninsula. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. According to the agency, Ukrainian forces attempted to carry out terrorist attacks on Russian territory, targeting key infrastructure.

According to the Governor of the Krasnodar Territory, Veniamin Kondratyev, the targets of the attacks included oil refineries, but thanks to the operational work of air defense systems, damage was avoided and there were no casualties among the population. As a result of nine drone attacks on a refinery in the Slavyansky district, a distillation column was damaged, said the head of the district, Roman Sinyagovsky. The separating unit was also damaged and a small fire with an area of ​​five square meters broke out, which was promptly extinguished.

These attacks are part of ongoing attempts by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to strike sensitive targets in Russia using drones. The Russian military and air defense forces actively oppose such actions aimed at destabilizing the situation and causing damage to critical infrastructure.
