Vucic commented on the withdrawal of Russian troops from Kherson

The Serbian leader spoke about the withdrawal of Russian troops from Kherson.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, while on a visit to France, commented on the withdrawal of Russian troops from Kherson and the right-bank part of the Kherson region. According to Vučić, he was wrong in his predictions that the attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Kherson would be long, however, the Serbian leader stressed that he may not have full information about the situation.

“I cannot comment on the situation there, but I can explain what it means for us. Obviously, some dialogue is planned, which is no longer denied either in the United States or in Russia. It is good that there are negotiations - this means that some solution will be found. I didn't believe it was possible, but I'm glad my judgment on the matter was wrong. I thought that the Russians would put up more fierce resistance in Kherson, I was clearly wrong.- said Alexander Vucic.

At the moment, Kherson is under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, while the Ukrainian military has declared a curfew in the city. This is likely due to the fear that the Russian military may try to launch an assault in the coming days.
