12 hours before the strike on Shakhtyorsk, NATO satellites passed over it

NATO satellites passed over Shakhtyorsk a few hours before the Hymars hit.

After the Ukrainian military attacked the ammunition depots in Shakhtyorsk, which forced the evacuation of the city's population, it became known that just a few hours before the strike of American heavy systems on the southern outskirts of the city, NATO WorldView-2 spacecraft passed over Shakhtyorsk and WorldView-3 capable of producing high quality images.

As Avia.pro journalists managed to find out, the WorldView-2 and WorldView-3 spacecraft took detailed pictures of Shakhtyorsk and its environs literally 12 hours before the attack. It could be a banal coincidence, however, the last time spacecraft of this type took pictures of Shakhtyorsk back in April, which indicates purposeful reconnaissance with the aim of further strikes.

On the presented image from the WorldView-2 satellite, you can see that the images make it possible to determine the exact coordinates for targeting the M31A2 missiles, which were used to fire at the ammunition depots. A similar picture, but from a slightly different orbit, was also taken by the WorldView-3 spacecraft.

In fact, this confirms that NATO provides the Ukrainian military with operational data from satellites. Moreover, what is very remarkable, it became known earlier that during the last attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Belgorod, 72 hours before the attack, the GeoEye-1 spacecraft was located over the city.

To date, the WorldView-2 and WorldView-3 spacecraft are actively used not only for civil intelligence, but also for military intelligence.
