Residents of the Kherson region report multiple explosions in the Chaplinsky district of the Kherson region.

According to the information provided by the residents of the settlements of the Chaplinsky district of the Kherson region, at around midnight in the region one could hear numerous pops, accompanied by outbreaks. According to preliminary data, the air defense system could have worked, since the Chaplinsky district, in connection with the transfer of the right-bank part of the Kherson region under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, is now in the zone of destruction of the HIMARS MLRS.

At the moment, the nature of the explosions remains unknown, since, despite all the evidence, satellite images did not allow us to establish any thermal anomalies in the region that would allow us to assert that the APU struck. At the same time, it will be possible to establish the real circumstances of the explosions only after the publication of satellite images from the territory of the Chaplinsky district.

Previously, an airfield was located on the territory of the Chaplinsky district, on the territory of which aviation was based, however, according to sources, a few days ago all air equipment was withdrawn from there.
