Belarus expelled Russian military attache from the country

The media reported the expulsion of a Russian military attache from Belarus.

According to several media reports, Minsk asked the Russian military attache Roman Spiridonov to leave Belarus. It is reported that this is due to some dubious activity directed against the Belarusian policy and national interests of this state.

The diplomatic mission has already stated that this is a standard personnel situation - in Belarus Spiridonov was on a business trip, and at the moment it is over, in connection with which, the latter returned to Russia, however, despite the scandal, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs affairs of Belarus still do not comment on the information that has appeared.

It is noteworthy that shortly before the information about the scandal appeared, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko unexpectedly left the EAEU summit, which could also be due to Minsk’s demand for Spiridonov to leave the territory of Belarus.

What kind of dubious activity of Roman Spiridonov can be talked about - sources do not specify.
