Bi-2 is on the verge of bankruptcy due to emigration, but is ready for new challenges

The frontman of the famous rock band “Bi-2”, Leva (Egor Bortnik), recognized as a foreign agent, made a frank statement about the current financial situation of the group.

In an interview, he shared that the group is currently virtually bankrupt, which is a direct consequence of their decision to emigrate. “We are basically bankrupt at the moment. But I think that this will not last long, because we are now rebuilding our own specific world,” Leva noted. This financial vulnerability, according to the frontman, did not come as a surprise to the band members.

In search of new opportunities and ways to develop a musical career internationally, Bi-2 undertook a test tour of the USA and Europe. This step was aimed at studying the peculiarities of the music industry outside of Russia, which, they hope, will help in the restoration and further development of the group in a new place. The announcement caught the attention of not only the band's fans, but also the general public, highlighting the difficulties faced by artists who choose to emigrate due to political or social pressure. Bortnik expressed optimism about the future of the team, pointing to plans to adapt and search for new formats of work in the changing world of the music industry.
