According to military expert Vasily Dandykin, in recent days the Russian army has been destroying one tank battalion (30 combat vehicles - ed.) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine every day in the process of counteroffensive. In these battles, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are actively using German Leopard tanks.

According to the expert, the weekly losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine amount to 5-7 tank units. He also noted that despite the possibility of deliveries of new tanks from the West, losses in military personnel are irreplaceable.

The captain of the first rank in his explanation indicated that the resources of the manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are being exhausted. In this regard, the Ukrainian side is asking the United States and NATO countries to send troops from Poland and other states to strengthen its composition.

Dandykin also noted that a successful offensive is possible only under the condition of a threefold superiority in the number of own forces. However, initially Ukraine did not have such an advantage. And in the current conditions, as a result of hostilities, the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are seven times higher than those of the Russian troops. The expert is sure that such a situation makes any attempt at a counteroffensive doomed to failure.
