Finland is moving dozens of heavy tanks and infantry fighting vehicles to the Russian border

Finland began to transfer its army to the Russian borders.

The Finnish Ministry of Defense has begun an unexpected redeployment of dozens of its heavy tanks, infantry fighting vehicles and armored personnel carriers towards the Russian border. It is known that at least two trains, fully loaded with military equipment, have already set off towards the Finnish-Russian border.

On the presented video frames, you can see the moment of the transfer of heavy armored and lightly armored vehicles towards the Russian border.

On railway platforms, it was possible to identify Leopard 2A6 heavy tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, armored personnel carriers and tracked tractors. Considering the fact how much of the indicated armored vehicles are in service with Finland, Finland sent almost half of its armored forces to the Russian borders, which causes very serious concern.

At the moment, there are no official statements from Finland regarding the sending of heavy equipment to the Russian border, however, experts note that such actions by the Finnish authorities clearly resemble an escalation, which may force Russia to take retaliatory measures and send its troops here.
