A special representative of the US State Department accused Russia of destroying an airplane over the Donbas.

Kurt Walker, who is the special representative of the US State Department for Ukraine, openly accused Russia of destroying the passenger airliner Boeing 777 in the sky over the Donbass in the summer of 2014, and also accusing Russia of occupying the eastern part of Ukraine.

"Responsibility is completely borne by Russia because of its invasion and occupation of this part of Ukraine", - Walker said in an interview with Ekho Moskvy.

As follows from Kurt Walker's words, the launch of the missile on the Malaysian airliner Boeing 777 was made by the Russian SAM complex, which arrived from Russia to the Donbas, and after the plane was destroyed, returned to its permanent base.

“The question of who exactly pressed the start button - was it a Russian by nationality, a Ukrainian, a Ukrainian citizen from Donbass, or an officer of the Russian Armed Forces, frankly, is less important than the fact that a Russian unit of military equipment that was transported to another a sovereign country under the control of Russia, was used to launch a rocket that killed all civilians, and then was taken out of the territory of Ukraine ", - the special representative of the US Department of State stressed.

By the way, Kurt Walker could not present either direct or indirect evidence of exactly how the Malaysian airplane was shot down, and therefore the accusations brought against him are not appropriate.
