The Basmanny Court of Moscow ordered the arrest of Dzhumokhon Kurbonov, who became the twelfth defendant in the case of the terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall concert hall, which occurred earlier this year. The decision to select a preventive measure in the form of detention until May 22 was announced by judge Evgenia Nikolaeva, a RIA Novosti correspondent reports from the courtroom.

The events at Crocus City Hall caused a wide public outcry. According to investigators, the terrorist attack was carried out by a group of people who used firearms and explosive devices, which led to numerous casualties among visitors to the event. Dzhumokhon Kurbonov, according to investigators, is one of the participants in this group.

Kurbonov's detention and subsequent arrest are part of an extensive investigation aimed at identifying all persons involved in organizing and carrying out the terrorist attack.
