Iran held talks with the Russian military on the S-400 Triumph and the Pantsir-S air defense missile system.

On the very first day of the "Army-2020" exhibition, the Iranian military expressed extreme interest in acquiring the Russian S-400 "Triumph" and "Pantsir-S" air defense systems for the country's armament. Both of these complexes have proven themselves in the best possible way on the territory of Syria, and it is obvious that Tehran can acquire at least two regiments of Russian complexes, as well as about 30 Pantsir-S complexes.

Earlier, sources of Avia.pro have already reported that during the visit of the Iranian military delegation to Russia, the main attention will be paid to the Russian S-400 Triumph complexes - in fact, the only systems in the world capable of combating stealth fighters and intercepting ballistic rockets at high altitudes.

Iran's main interest in the Russian Pantsir-S air defense missile systems is obviously caused by the need to cover the S-400 complexes, as well as the possibility of their quick transfer to almost any region of the country and to the territory of neighboring states, for example, to the same Syria to repel Israeli attacks.
