About 9 thousand people are being evacuated from the Belgorod region

Due to the aggravation of the situation in the Belgorod region, which was subjected to a series of attacks, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov decided to evacuate about 9 thousand children. To ensure the safety of young residents of the region, they will be sent to quieter areas of Russia, including Penza, Tambov, Kaluga and the Stavropol Territory.

This decision followed several tragic events, one of which resulted in serious injury to the local population. In particular, during a recent shelling of the village of Razumny, a 14-year-old teenager was seriously injured, as a result of which his arm was partially amputated. The condition of the boy and his mother, who was also injured during the shelling, is assessed as serious.

According to local authorities, 16 people have been killed in shelling over the past week, and another 98 were injured of varying degrees of severity. In addition, the Grayvoronsky district of the region was without power after one of the attacks. These measures to evacuate children are intended to prevent further casualties among the population and provide children with a safe environment, far from the border with Ukraine.

The situation in the Belgorod region causes serious concern among local residents and requires urgent measures to be taken to ensure their safety.
