The first documentary evidence of cruise missiles changing their flight path has appeared.

Previously, it was repeatedly reported that cruise missiles being fired are capable of bypassing air defense position areas and can change their trajectory to strike from an unexpected direction, however, this has only just been documented.

On the video footage published by the head of the Nikolaev region Vitaly Kim, you can see how the cruise missile abruptly changes its trajectory, turning almost at an angle of 90 degrees. According to some reports, this maneuver was made specifically to bypass the position area of ​​​​Ukrainian air defense systems, identified during the strike.

So far, it remains unknown whether the new trajectory of the cruise missile was set directly during the flight or was planned initially, however, this fact seriously complicates the process of intercepting such missiles, especially during a mass strike, when the efforts of air defense systems are usually concentrated on one sector of airspace .

So far, no official comments have been made on this subject, and therefore it is not possible to find out all the circumstances.
