Foreign mercenaries are fleeing en masse from Ukraine.

Despite statements by the Ukrainian authorities that foreign mercenaries and volunteers participating in hostilities on the side of Ukraine are highly motivated, cases of mass desertion among the latter, including private foreign military companies, have become known. Information on this subject is voiced by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, due to massive losses both in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and in the ranks of foreign citizens taking part in hostilities on the territory of Ukraine, cases of mass desertion of foreign mercenary contingent have been recorded. Particular attention is drawn to the Kraken unit, based in the Kharkiv region - it has actually lost its combat capability and ceased to exist.

“In the Kharkiv direction, as a result of the destruction of points of temporary deployment of Ukrainian nationalists by pinpoint strikes of the Russian Aerospace Forces and missile forces, mass losses and desertion of mercenaries, the Kraken national formation lost its combat capability. To urgently make up for the losses, the commanders of the Nazi formation are unsuccessfully trying to force the inhabitants of the city of Kharkov to join it., - informs the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

Recently, massive missile strikes have been launched on the territory of the Kharkiv region, as a result of which a number of objects of foreign mercenaries and the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed, which probably led to cases of mass desertion.
