A few hours ago, a serviceman of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Navy was detained for passing on secret information concerning the means of defense of the Crimean peninsula to the special services of Ukraine. At the moment, FSB officers are conducting a check in order to establish the degree of guilt of the detainee and to reveal the identities of his possible accomplices.

“The FSB detained a serviceman of the Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol on suspicion of high treason. The man passed on to the intelligence of Ukraine information constituting a state secret. A criminal case was initiated against the malefactor under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“High treason”). The court chose the measure of restraint for the serviceman in the form of arrest. At the moment, the man is in jail. He faces 12 to 20 years in prison ", - about it сообщает "Lenta.ru".
