Passenger plane crashed into residential buildings. Video

Passenger plane crashed into residential buildings in the Congo.

A few hours ago, a passenger aircraft owned by the Busy Bee airline crashed into a residential building near the international airport in Goma during a scheduled flight. As a result of the crash of a passenger aircraft, at least 20 people were killed, and a search and rescue operation at the scene of the tragedy took 6 hours.

As can be seen on the presented video frames, a passenger plane Dornier 228 collapsed directly on residential buildings, while the plane caught fire, which did not give a chance to escape neither those who were on board the aircraft, nor those who were in the destroyed buildings.

The cause of the tragedy is still unknown, however, local media report that the most obvious reason was a technical malfunction - the plane crashed just a few minutes after takeoff, but at the same time, representatives of the air carrier report that the crew did not send a distress signal.

It should be noted that despite the aircraft fire, the explosion was avoided, and otherwise the number of injured and casualties could have turned out to be much greater.

The editorial board of the Avia.pro resource does not have information about the state of the aircraft carrier's fleet.
