One of the main characters of the scandalous story, Lieutenant Colonel Roman Vinivitin, who attracted media attention after the arrest of Wagner PMC for shelling fighters of a private military company, wrote down an appeal to the public. In his speech, he spoke in detail about the conflict incident with PMCs and completely unexpectedly changed his position.

“How my capture happened: I went around my units and advanced orders, the PMC officers blocked my path. There was no reason for this. As a military officer, I was not going to endure this. As a result, the Wagner employees were disarmed and sent in a certain direction: they were sent to ***"- said the lieutenant colonel.

Vinivitin also spoke about how after that he was detained, kept in the basement, subjected to inhuman abuse.

“I was beaten, not allowed to sleep, they dragged me out of the basement three times a night and tried to shoot me. The video of my interrogation is the result of these actions.”, - he said.

He also refuted allegations about the mining of the rear of PMC "Wagner" by the 72nd brigade.

“Did the 72nd brigade mine the rear of the Wagner PMC? This is bullshit, it's all *******. These are not Wagner's rear areas, this is the area of ​​responsibility of the 72nd brigade. This statement is a product of the inflamed consciousness of the Wagner PR service and an attempt to attack the leadership of the Moscow Region ", - emphasized Vinivitin.

He added that problems with the "Wagnerites" began from the very first days of the transfer of his brigade to the Artyomovskoye direction. There were cases of theft of equipment, threats of physical violence, torture and even suicide.

In his appeal, Vinivitin also turned to Evgeny Viktorovich, accusing him of discrediting the RF Armed Forces.

The leadership of PMC "Wagner" has not yet responded to the statement of Vinivitin.
