Shows the consequences of a missile hitting a T-90 tank - its turret was blown off

As a result of an anti-tank missile hitting an Azerbaijani T-90 tank, a turret was blown off the combat vehicle.

During the Second Karabakh War, Azerbaijan prefers to hide its real losses. As it turned out, in addition to several T-90 tanks of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces captured by Armenia, at least one combat vehicle was destroyed using the Russian Kornet ATGM (officially put into service with the Armenian Armed Forces - Ed.).

In the photographs presented, you can see that the rocket not only successfully hit the tank, but also tore off its multi-ton turret, throwing the last one 10-12 meters away. Little remains of the tank itself, although it was previously assumed that this combat vehicle should withstand an anti-tank missile hit, especially since the tank was protected by active armor.

Experts pay attention to the fact that in reality, there can be no questions about the protection of T-90 tanks - the whole thing is about the extraordinary power of the Kornet anti-tank missile system, a shot from which is capable of penetrating almost 1.5 meters of armored steel, which is natural would not have saved the tank from such a hit.

Nevertheless, quite a few questions are raised by the fact why Azerbaijan prefers to hide its losses during the armed conflict in Karabakh, which does not exclude the possibility that they may be much more official information.

But Cornet didn’t tear the tower off. And the detonation of ammunition in the tower. What an illiteracy of the author ...
