The West will give Ukraine at least 354 tanks.

Western countries have decided to supply Ukraine with more than 350 Western-style tanks. This includes both modern heavy tanks and tanks from the Soviet era, however, current deliveries are the largest for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At the same time, the number of tanks transferred to Ukraine during the year may increase even more, since a number of countries have not yet expressed their readiness to transfer these weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and some deliveries are not officially announced, as, for example, in the case of Morocco.

At the moment, it is known that Ukraine will receive 120 T-72 tanks, 60 PT-91 Twardy tanks, 129 Leopard 2 tanks (Spain decided to transfer 53 tanks to Ukraine instead of the 20 previously promised - ed.), 31 M1A2 Abrams tank and 14 Challenger 2 tanks. Among other things, the decision to supply tanks has not yet been made by Sweden, Denmark and France, which, according to preliminary data, can transfer from 30 to 80 Leopard 2, Leclerc, AMX-10RC and Stridsvagn 122 tanks to Ukraine .

Pumping Ukraine with a large number of tanks will definitely lead to an escalation, especially given the fact that the Armed Forces of Ukraine still have about 300-400 tanks in service, and about a hundred more combat vehicles are being repaired in Poland and the Czech Republic.
