About a day ago, American F-15 fighters launched a new series of missile attacks on the territory of Syria and neighboring Iraq, which caused serious criticism from Moscow. The reason for this is understandable - the US side did not warn the Russian military about the operation, and therefore, American combat aircraft could very well be identified as aggressive targets and destroyed.

“According to presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov, any actions aimed at eliminating terrorists are assessed positively, and actions that lead to destabilization, on the contrary, are negative. Earlier, US Secretary of Defense Mark Esper said air strikes against Kataib Hezbollah’s targets were successful. ”- reports the publication Echo of Moscow.

Experts draw attention to the fact that without proper coordination between the two sides, Russia also has the right to strike at Syrian territories controlled by the US military, since the presence of the so-called international coalition in such areas is illegal.

“This is not the first time Washington has violated an agreement with Moscow to coordinate the situation in Syria.
