Russian air defense and missile defense systems are put on alert.

The C-400 and Iskander-M were on full alert.

The Ministry of Defense of Russia reported some details about the first day of a surprise check of the combat readiness of the troops of the Central Military District (TSO). On Monday, June 24, after an order from the commander-in-chief of the Russian Armed Forces, Vladimir Putin, to conduct an inspection, the district troops raised an alarm. During the day, the units marched to certain areas of concentration and standard equipment.

In the Saratov region and the Republic of Khakassia, calculations of the C-300 and C-400 missile systems were advanced to designated positioning areas. After these positions are occupied, the calculations will work out the combat training task of protecting state facilities that are important from air attack weapons.

At the same time, the missile brigade, which is armed with the Iskander-M complexes, located in the Sverdlovsk region, was redeployed to the combat mission area. After that, the military engaged in engineering equipment, masking combat positions and the system of comprehensive support. During the test, the complex calculations carried out group and single rocket attacks on targets that simulated command posts, airfields and other objects.

In the Samara region, military personnel of the peacekeeping brigade at the training ground practiced peacekeeping training and combat missions in the territory where the situation of armed conflict was imitated. In particular, buffer zones were created between the opposing sides.

It remains to be recalled that Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu on Monday morning said that the test that had begun would continue on June 28 inclusive.
