The media report the appearance of military personnel from NATO countries in Ukraine

The Spanish newspaper EL PAÍS reports the presence of military personnel from NATO countries on the territory of Ukraine, where they monitor the use of weapons provided to Kyiv, as well as conduct intelligence activities and training missions. According to the newspaper, the alliance's military is not directly involved in hostilities. This information is confirmed by Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski, who mentioned at a conference in Warsaw the presence of NATO soldiers in Ukraine, without specifying which countries are taking part.

The publication notes that over the past two years, many interviews have been conducted with Ukrainian and European military sources. From these conversations it became known that there were informants from NATO countries operating on the territory of Ukraine, whose task was to collect information about the situation on the front line, the effectiveness of the supplied weapons and identifying cases of their improper use or corruption. Among the unofficial informants are retired foreign military personnel who voluntarily participate in hostilities on the side of Ukraine. Washington's active role in monitoring the assistance provided is especially emphasized.

In the context of support for Ukraine by Western countries, French President Emmanuel Macron mentioned the discussion on the possible sending of ground troops to Ukraine. Although no consensus was reached at the meeting in Paris, such a scenario cannot be ruled out in the future. Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasized Russia's awareness of the presence of NATO troops on Ukrainian territory and mentioned significant losses among them.
