Syrsky admitted big problems at the front - the Ukrainian Armed Forces began to retreat

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky, confirmed significant movements of Ukrainian units in the Avdiivka direction. According to him, the fighting in the areas of Berdychi, Semenovka and Novomikhailovka forced Ukrainian troops to withdraw, which complicated the situation around Avdiivka.

As Syrsky notes, the situation has worsened in the Pokrovsky and Kurakhovsky directions, where the Russian Armed Forces are using significant forces, including up to four brigades, trying to advance to the west. Syrsky notes that the Russian army is actively operating in the direction of Pokrovsk and Kurakhovo, which creates additional pressure on the defensive ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

In his address, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also provided information about the tense situation in other sectors of the front. In particular, intensified fighting is taking place in the area of Chasov Yar and on the flanks in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. A no less difficult situation is observed in the Kupyansky direction.

This retreat indicates that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were not ready for powerful attacks by the Russian army.
