The T-72B3 tank withstood 7 hits from RPGs, 2 hits from ATGMs and survived a direct hit from an American Javelin

The tank withstood at least 10 direct hits and was able to successfully withdraw the crew from enemy fire.

The T-72B3 tank successfully survived at least 7 direct hits from a hand-held anti-tank grenade launcher, 2 hits from anti-tank missile systems and a direct hit from an American Javelin ATGM. Despite a whole hail of blows that hit the heavy combat vehicle, the latter successfully survived them, receiving relatively little damage and saving the life of the tank crew. Information on this subject is provided by the Russian war correspondent Alexander Garmaev, publishing the corresponding photographs of a tank that survived during the attack.

“Another evidence of the survivability of Russian armored vehicles. This T-72B3 withstood hits from 7-8 RPG grenades, two ATGMs, and one Javelin ATGM. The tank lost its visor and boxes, but the crew took the tank out of the shelling under its own power.- сообщает Alexander Garmaev on his Telegram channel.

On a heavy armored fighting vehicle, you can indeed see the damage resulting from hits by anti-tank shells and ammunition, however, given the damage, experts are skeptical about the arguments that the tank really received so many hits, believing that the fighting vehicle probably survived two hits - on the protective visor and on the side, since there are no other traces of hits on the tank, which, however, due to the lack of photographs from other angles, does not allow us to talk about this with certainty, since it was previously known that within the framework of SVO tanks successfully survived multiple hits from RPGs and American Javelin anti-tank systems.
