The Ambassador of the LPR announced the final stage of the agreement on joining Russia.

Ambassador of the Lugansk People's Republic (LPR) to Russia Rodion Miroshnik noted that the conclusion of the agreement is the most important component of the entry of the Lugansk People's Republic into the Russian Federation. At the moment, the drafting of the agreement is at the final stage, which subsequently allows the people's republic to join the Russian Federation.

“Its content is very important. There is no point in being extremely hasty, he is already ready. Now, as far as I know, its main provisions are being cleaned up. I think that this [joining the Russian Federation, - approx. ed.] should happen within a week. The rest of the integration parameters, they will be discussed within the framework of the laws and decisions being made.”- said Miroshnik.

It is still unknown which points are taken into account in the drafted agreement, however, the situation is similar in the Donetsk People's Republic, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.

As part of the completed referendum, four regions decided to join the Russian Federation.
