In Russia, the production of new types of weapons based on new principles has been established.

Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev said that due to the current situation in the world, Russia was forced to resort to increasing the production of weapons based on new principles, which have destructive power.

“We are increasing the production of the most powerful weapons. Including those based on new principles"- said Medvedev.

Medvedev did not specify what specific types of new weapons are in question, however, it is known that the Russian military has been quite actively working in this area. Moreover, we are really talking about new technologies used to create weapons, including combat lasers, electromagnetic weapons, hypersonic technologies, etc.

In what specific volume it is supposed to increase the production of high-tech weapons, Medvedev did not specify, however, apparently, Russia has such opportunities.
