Russia has developed revolutionary electronic warfare systems with a range of over 1000 kilometers

The Russian Defense Minister announced the development of revolutionary electronic warfare systems.

The Russian military is preparing for the adoption of revolutionary land, sea and air-based electronic warfare systems for the country's armament. Judging by the statement of the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergei Shoigu, we are talking about complexes capable of setting active jamming at a distance of over a thousand kilometers, and, judging by the announcement of the development of air-based electronic warfare and electronic warfare systems, Russia was able to disable almost any military and civilian use.

Below are some excerpts from the statement by the head of the Russian defense department:

- more than 1000 units of the latest electronic warfare systems entered the troops in 2020, including small jammers;

- 19 new electronic warfare systems were created, including airborne systems;

- the range of use of electronic warfare increased by 3,5 times;

- the development and implementation of countermeasures is taking into account the prospects for the development of command and control systems of a potential enemy.

Among the currently known electronic warfare systems, the greatest range is possessed by the Krasukha complexes, which have a jamming range at distances of about 300 kilometers, which, judging by Shoigu's statement, means that the latest developments have a "defeat" range of over a thousand kilometers.

Today, Russia has the most advanced electronic warfare technology in the world, which is recognized by the United States as well.
