Syrian sources confirmed information that an agreement was reached between Moscow and Damascus that Russia will deploy additional fighters to Syria to contain Turkish aggression in the country.

According to information from Syrian military sources, Russia has accepted the offer of the Syrian military to deploy additional forces at an airbase in the city of Qamishli. This will help contain Ankara's aggression against the Arab Republic. It is with this that the daily flights of Russian fighters over this region are connected, which completely refutes the data previously voiced by Turkey that there will be no strengthening of the base of the Russian Aerospace Forces in Kamyshly.

Earlier, the news agency Avia.pro reported about the likely the transfer of 21 Russian fighters to the airbase in Kamyshly. According to satellite images, there are no planes at the military airfield yet. This indicates either their imminent arrival at the airbase in Qamishli, or that the fighters are based at other military airfields in Syria.
