British intelligence announced the start of a counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Bakhmut area.

The situation in the attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine accurately describes the one that Yevgeny Prigozhin relatively recently announced, noting that the Armed Forces of Ukraine can launch attacks on the flanks of the Wagner PMC and release Bakhmut, the battles for which have been going on since August last year.

According to British intelligence, the Armed Forces of Ukraine purposefully carry out a local counter-offensive in order to avoid powerful attacks, believing that in this case they will not follow.

According to the official report, the Ukrainian Armed Forces made an attempt to relieve pressure from the H-32 route, through which the Armed Forces receive supplies. At the same time, it is reported that the fighting around the very center of the city continues, and the Ukrainian defense remains under the threat of encirclement from the north and south. Nevertheless, given the large forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine still remaining in this direction, the forecast previously given by Prigozhin about the impending attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to release Bakhmut is more than obvious.

A little earlier, the founder of Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, officially appealed to Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu with a request to prevent a breakthrough of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in this direction.
