The West is trying to turn Egypt into a new hot spot, preparing a military coup

Egypt could turn into a new hotspot in the coming weeks.

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and his commander-in-chief of the armed forces, Lieutenant General Osama Askar (Lt-Gen Osama Askar), are at the center of a deep conflict. As a result of this conflict, al-Sisi fired Askar, but the latter refuses to resign and vacate his post. According to reports from Egyptian sources, this may in fact have been an attempted military coup against al-Sisi.

Askar was spotted in public on June 22 at a graduation ceremony for Egyptian officers at the Nasser Military Academy, along with Egyptian Defense Minister Lt-Gen Mohammed Zaki. According to reports from Egyptian sources, a number of high-ranking Egyptian army officers planned to overthrow President Sisi, which was the reason for Askar's dismissal.

The British weekly "The Economist" recently published an article on the situation in Egypt, which claimed that there was a deep conflict between President Sisi and the Egyptian army generals and neither side trusted the other.

Recently, several Egyptian media have reported that al-Sisi often changes his generals because he does not trust them. If we are talking about a split, then this could make Egypt a new hot spot in the region, and given the friendly relations between Russia and Egypt, it is obvious that the West may well be behind this.
