American helicopter "Chinook" stuck into a snowy peak

The pilot of the American helicopter demonstrated incredible control.

As part of the search and rescue operation in the mountains of the American state of Oregon, the US Air Force pilot hit the whole world with his mastery of handling the heavy transport helicopter CH-47 Chinook.

As can be seen on the video footage, because the rescue operation was carried out in a high-altitude region, the rotorcraft could not land on the terrain, but the helicopter pilot showed sharpness and stuck to the snowy top of the helicopter, kept the aircraft while all the rescued climbers were not on board.

The pilot later admitted that he had no choice but to take advantage of the unique opportunity and keep the rotorcraft in one place until all rescued climbers were removed from the mountain top.

Specialists have already appreciated the skill of the American pilot, stressing that, most likely, no one previously performed such a landing on a snowy peak, especially considering the fact that it is a rescue operation at an altitude of 3430 meters, where powerful air turbulence occurs.
