February 24, 2014. During the flights on February 23, 2014 of the Ulyanovsk DOSAAF aircraft, a large unmanned aerial vehicle was detected by radars. The dispatcher of the local airport promptly responded to the flight of the drone and changed the flight altitude for the aircraft of local airlines.

To find out the origin of the unmanned vehicle has not yet succeeded. There are several versions. One of which identifies this unmanned aerial vehicle to the type of "Scat", made in Russia, which could get out of control of ground services, and the second version is based on the fact that the UAV was foreign-made and carried out a reconnaissance mission.
