Erdogan: Turkey will receive a C-400 in July

The President of Turkey spoke about the supply of Russian C-400 "Triumph".

Despite the categorical objections from the United States of America regarding the purchase by Turkey of the Russian S-400 Triumph anti-aircraft missile systems, the President of this country, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, announced that the Turkish military will receive the first S-400 complexes in July this year, and the full adoption of these air defense systems for the country's armament is scheduled for January 2020.

Russian S-400 “Triumph” is of great interest to the Turkish military, which is primarily due to the fact that today it is the most long-range air defense system in the world. Moreover, the reliability of the Russian C-400 systems is practically unquestionable, and the ability to detect even “stealth” targets opens up entirely new possibilities in ensuring the protection of airspace.

In addition, Turkey is potential customers of fifth-generation Russian fighter Su-57, but this will depend primarily on the United States, which, due to the purchase of Triumph C-400 by Turkey, can tritely terminate the contract for the supply of F-35.

Previously, the Turks needed F-16 to shoot down our aircraft, and now C-400, they are more reliable. Hooray?
