Germany announced its intention to provide Ukraine with 100 tanks and IRIS-T air defense systems.

We are talking about providing armored combat vehicles that are currently in service with Greece and Slovakia, while Berlin has committed itself to compensate European countries for the supply of armored vehicles to Ukraine.

At the moment, it remains unknown what kind of armored combat vehicles we are talking about - according to a number of data, these may be Greek BMP-1 and Slovak T-72 tanks, however, in Germany, no clarifications have been made on this yet.

The active supply of armored vehicles to Ukraine by Western countries may indicate the fact that the Armed Forces of Ukraine really have very serious losses in weapons, however, a much bigger problem is that in the future the West intends to arm Kyiv with NATO military armored vehicles, which, thanks to its novelty, better adapted to the conduct of hostilities.

In addition, it is known that Germany intends to transfer additional IRIS-T air defense systems to Ukraine.
