The Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine announced the arson of a Ka-32 helicopter at an airfield in Moscow

On April 26, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine distributed a video recording of unknown persons setting fire to a helicopter. According to the department, this event occurred at the Ostafyevo airfield in Moscow and we are talking about a Ka-32 type helicopter owned by the Russian Ministry of Defense and sometimes operated by Gazprom Avia.

The description of the video indicates that the multi-purpose helicopter was used to evacuate military personnel of the Russian Armed Forces, as well as to perform logistics operations as part of a special military operation. However, according to the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine, at the moment the helicopter no longer exists, as it was destroyed as a result of arson.

According to a number of sources, we are talking about a firefighting helicopter that has nothing to do with military activities.

To date, there have been no official comments from the Russian Ministry of Defense regarding this incident. In this regard, information about the events at the Ostafyevo airfield remains unconfirmed.
