Spanish airport sold for 10 thousand euros

The Spanish authorities are selling the airport worth 30 million euros for 10 thousand euros.

The previously built, but later bankrupt airport in the Spanish city of Ciudad Real, the country's authorities intend to sell in the near future for 10 thousand euros. The amount is quite relative, and in essence is only the starting price for the future auction. At the same time, the information resource Avia.pro became aware that initially, capital investments in the construction of the airport amounted to 1 billion euros, and the actually unfinished airline complex is currently estimated at 30 million euros.

Nevertheless, the organizers of the upcoming auction for the sale of the unfinished airport complex report that there is one, no less important, purchase condition - the future owner will have to pay in addition the debts of the unfinished airport, which, according to available data, are estimated at 300 million euros.

Experts say that it is possible that the airport would be rather popular, but 200 kilometer distance from Madrid makes the operation of this air hub unattractive for air carriers.
