Libya calls for help from Russian military aircraft.

Russian VCS, helping the Syrian government forces to liberate the territory of the Arab Republic, demonstrated their incredible power. Against this backdrop, the Libyan authorities have seriously thought about asking the Russian military to help liberate the country's territory from the terrorists of the Islamic State group (IGIL, a terrorist group whose activities are officially banned in Russia) and destroy local radical gangs, depriving Libya of the opportunity to restore a peaceful life.

"Russia and Libya have a long military relationship. All the weapons of the present Libyan army are Russian, our military doctrine also has eastern roots ... Almost all the Libyan officers were trained in Russia. Contracts have been concluded in the field of military-technical cooperation, which we tried to revive in the past years, but we face a huge problem - this is the UN arms embargo ", - said the Libyan general.

At the moment, the authorities of Libya are trying to negotiate with Russia with the aim of transferring to the Libya grouping of the VKS, as reported by Radio Liberty, but no real steps in this direction have been achieved.

Considering the fact that the Russian military aviation grouping may appear in Libya, it can be assumed that Russia's influence in this region will be seriously strengthened.
