The number of Russian videoconferencing stations in Syria has significantly decreased.

Relatively recently at the Russian military airbase "Khmeimim", located in the Syrian province of Latakia, there were more than three dozen military aircraft, however, taking into account satellite images dated the beginning of this month, the strength of the VCS group in the Arab Republic has significantly decreased.

On satellite images, experts were able to detect 19 combat aircraft, including:

• 4 multi-purpose fighter Su-35;
• 6 Su-34 fighter-bombers;
• 9 front-line bomber Su-24.

Experts noted that the Khmeimim airbase completely lacks ground attack aircraft, which may well mean that the Russian Aerospace Forces will no longer take an active part in striking militant positions, but will confine themselves to single strikes and provide cover for the Syrian government forces.

It should be clarified that at the moment serious problems in Syria can be created by Turkey, which pulled into the province of Idlib heavy armored vehicles and air defense means, threatening to destroy any means of combat aviation that threaten Turkish soldiers.
