Unknown drone invaded Moldovan airspace

In Moldova, a state of emergency was introduced due to the penetration of a foreign drone into the airspace of the country.

A few hours ago, the Moldovan authorities announced the complete closure of their airspace due to the invasion of a foreign drone. Initially, it was reported that a Russian unmanned aerial vehicle invaded the airspace of Moldova, however, there is no official confirmation of this from Chisinau - the drone is positioned as foreign, without a specific indication of belonging to any state.

According to preliminary data, the unmanned aerial vehicle was reconnaissance. According to some reports, the drone was able to leave the country's airspace on its own, and according to others, it was shot down.

According to official data, the drone posed a direct threat to civil aviation, in connection with which it was decided to close the country's airspace. Later, it was announced that the airspace over the country's territory was reopened - the state of emergency was in effect for about three hours.

Chisinau has so far refrained from making any official comments on what happened. At the same time, which is very remarkable, the drone was discovered after it had invaded the airspace of Moldova.

A little earlier, Moldova accused Russia of the fact that a Russian cruise missile flew through its airspace.
