Prigozhin denied information about the encirclement of Ukrainian troops in the north of Bakhmut

The encirclement of the Ukrainian military in the north of Bakhmut has not yet been recorded.

The founder of Wagner PMC Yevgeny Prigozhin commented on the information spread by Russian war correspondents that a large group of Ukrainian troops is surrounded in the north of Bakhmut. According to him, such information is not true and there are no grounds to assert that this may happen in the near future.

“In all directions, the enemy is becoming more active, pulling up more and more new reserves. Every day, from 300 to 500 new fighters approach Bakhmut in all directions. Artillery fire intensifies every day. To date, heavy fighting is going on in the north. There are no prerequisites for encircling the enemy in the northern regions."- said Prigogine.

To date, units of PMC "Wagner" are still at least one settlement away from the northern outskirts of Bakhmut - the fighting is going on for Paraskovievka.

This morning, sources associated with Wagner PMC reported that the units managed to block the highway Bakhmut - Slavyansk, thereby cutting off one of the key highways, however, no official statements were made on this subject from the Wagner PMC.
