The Russian long-range strategic bomber Tu-22 has long been considered one of the best combat aircraft in Russia's arsenal. Due to its relatively small size, formidable armament and supersonic flight speed, it is a practical ideal weapon for the Russian military command and control, and moreover, according to the estimates of US military specialists, these bombers pose a great threat to US national security.

The new modification of the Russian bomber-missile carrier has more advanced engines, increased combat range, new means of guidance, and is expected to be equipped with hypersonic weapons, in particular, they are about X-47M2 missiles capable of accurately hitting targets at distances up to 1,5 thousand. kilometers with the maximum destructive effect.
