Russian aircraft designers are busy developing a domestic supersonic airplane.

The Director General of the Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute (TsAGI) said that scientists and engineers are currently engaged in the creation of a domestic supersonic aircraft. The new project is designed primarily to carry out commercial air transportation, and although the passenger capacity of an aircraft is unlikely to exceed 100, a supersonic aircraft can quickly conquer both domestic and foreign markets.

It should be clarified that the timing of the project has not yet been officially publicized, however, it is obvious that if the plane can be created, its first tests will only be carried out by the year 2025.
