Against the background of how the US Department of Defense decided to completely stop the operation of the fifth generation F-35 fighters and all modifications of this model, Israel also decided to temporarily follow the US example and conduct an audit of its combat aircraft. Nevertheless, just a few days later it became known that all fifth-generation fighters were ready to perform combat missions, and therefore, the Israeli Air Force command decided to resume operation of these aircraft.

“We have tested all our F-35 fighters. They are in perfect condition and ready to destroy any enemy. We are not afraid of the Syrian S-300, and they will be destroyed upon receipt of such an order ", - reported by the Israeli media.

Analysts believe that in the near future Israel will be ready to launch new strikes on the territory of Syria, including with the help of its fifth generation fighters, however, according to the information that has appeared, the Russian S-300 "Favorite" air defense systems, which have appeared in Syria's armament, are quite can cope with stealth aircraft.

Nevertheless, the Pentagon was rather skeptical about the problem, since the defect was identified in several dozen fighters, which will require additional costs to ensure their repair, not to mention the fact that similar problems can be identified with the main partners of the United States, which already adopted these aircraft.
