Syria's air defenses opened fire on an Israeli military aircraft.

The Israeli Air Force fighter attempted to illegally enter Syria's airspace to conduct reconnaissance, but because the pilot did not respond to military requests, it was decided to open fire on the aircraft. According to some reports, the launch of the missile was a warning, after which the Israeli fighter carrying out reconnaissance in Syria left the airspace of this country.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of Syria stated that in response to the military aggression of Israel, any aircraft penetrating into the country illegally, will be destroyed, while it is important to consider that because of the deplorable state of the Syrian Air Force, the fight against aircraft violators it is necessary to conduct air defense.

It should be clarified that for today the terrorists of the group "Islamic State" are almost completely knocked out from the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic.
