Sivkov: Russia will not deploy its missiles in Belarus

Russia will not deploy missiles in Belarus.

After Donald Trump's statement about the possibility of the United States unilaterally withdrawing from the Medium and Shorter-Range Missile Treaty, the Secretary of State said that the States would allow Russia six months to return to meeting the terms of the treaty. The leadership of the Russian Federation promised a mirror response to the Americans, and also stated that Russia suspends its participation in the treaty.

Konstantin Sivkov, a military expert, commenting on the information on the possible deployment of Russian missiles in Belarus as a response to the US withdrawal from the INF Treaty, said that such an option would be beneficial for Russia. This is a strategic point of view. But to place rockets in Belarus means to substitute its citizens for a possible blow. That is, the Belarusian people will be drawn into the US-Russian nuclear missile standoff.

Sivkov stressed that Moscow would not allow such a move, it would not endanger the Allies. Moreover, Russia's military concepts provide that it does not deploy missile and nuclear weapons on the territory of other countries.

Lieutenant-General Yevgeny Buzhinsky, the former head of the international treaty management of the Ministry of Defense, spoke on the deployment of new missiles. He noted that Russia will not deploy missile strike systems. This will be started only after the United States begins to deploy new missiles in Europe.

The general also clarified that Russia could deliver missile launchers to other countries, but this is possible only when bilateral agreements are reached.

The United States, its partners are jeopardized and not even blowing a mustache. Moreover, it is painfully similar to the fact that it is assumed that it is partners like Ukraine, Poland, Romania, etc. they will take the whole blow or the lion's share of the blows, i.e. these countries will be destroyed, and the United States, perhaps, the blows themselves will not even touch, the partners will protect this country by sacrificing themselves.
