The Swiss newspaper Neue Zürcher Zeitung presented an analysis suggesting that the Russian special operation in Ukraine could end by 2025. The authors of the publication believe that Russia’s last chance for victory will come next year, when, in the event of a complete collapse of the Ukrainian front, the collapse of modern Ukraine is possible. However, this is only possible through a peace agreement initiated by Moscow. Otherwise, the situation may enter the “frozen conflict” stage.

The article emphasizes the current situation of the Ukrainian armed forces, which, according to the authors, do not have the ability to actively resist in hostilities. Special attention is paid to the problems with the arrival of Western tanks designed to strengthen the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This assistance turned out to be too late to have a significant impact on the course of the conflict. In addition, there is a lack of effective air support and critical problems with providing Ukrainian troops with sufficient ammunition.
