Turkey may completely close to Russian airlines due to sanctions

Turkey may stop working with Russian airlines.

Against the background of how Turkey announced its intention to stop any ground handling of Boeing and Airbus passenger airliners, it became known that Ankara is considering the possibility of completely refusing to interact with Russian air carriers using foreign airliners. Information on this subject is provided by the journalist Khayal Muazzin.

“Turkey may be completely closed to Russian airlines due to sanctions. Russian planes flying to Turkey are made up of American parts. Because of the sanctions, they are prohibited from refueling and servicing at Turkish airports. The ban should take effect soon."- reports the journalist.

Earlier, Turkey confirmed the fact that they had received relevant notifications from Airbus and Boeing and had already sent a warning to Russian air carriers.

It is expected that Turkish airlines will have to completely replace Russian air carriers, however, it remains unknown whether Russian airports will be able to serve Turkish airliners.

Given that Turkey is one of the most popular destinations for Russians, this could seriously affect the civil aviation industry in Russia.
