A member of the Ukrainian national team in army hand-to-hand combat, Sergei Kuznetsov, escaped from the European Championship in Poland and reached Russia through the Czech Republic, where he now plans to join the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. He spoke about this in an exclusive interview with Mash.

Kuznetsov, who took the oath of office in the Ukrainian army in 2021 and served in a special unit in the Lviv region, learned about arms supplies from the USA, EU and Great Britain. With the start of a special military operation, he was sent to the front line, but on the way he learned about the shooting of a column of his former colleagues by the Ukrainian terrorist defense. Having been wounded, Sergei ended up in the hospital, where, according to him, doctors demanded money from the fighters for providing medical care.

Now Kuznetsov is striving to reach new territories where his parents live, and then plans to voluntarily join the RF Armed Forces.
